So the USD/INR has touched ₹95, and the govt keeps saying "economy strong hai, don't worry!" We were promised *Atma Nirbhar Bharat* would make us self‑reliant. And now we're watching our rupee tumble with no external help. Impressive efficiency.

Timeline of events:

* ₹65 – "Achhe din aa rahe hain"
* ₹75 – "Temporary volatility"
* ₹85 – "Global headwinds, not our fault"
* ₹95 – "Atma Nirbhar bane rahe"

It's scary. Even after slapping a huge cap on banks and selling off forex reserves, we're back at 95.

Didn't the RBI try hard to stop the INR's depreciation against the USD?

It was bound to happen. The RBI's forex cap was never a permanent fix; it was just a temporary measure.

It's back to 93. What just happened in the last few hrs?

Priya

What will they dump this time?

Guys, have a look at the euro too – it's on the verge of hitting 110, which is a huge loss for students planning to study in Europe, including me, losing around ₹2 L.

Amritkal for NRIs. That's why I recommend cutting Indian equity holdings and increasing US exposure.

No, why are you bringing this up? The TCS conversion is more important.
