I've tried Formularx Hydra Veil, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel and D&K's 72‑hour gel.

Akbar

My skin is oily, dehydrated and acne‑prone, and I'm still on the hunt for a hydrating moisturiser – haven't found one yet.

Radhika

Moiz LMF – I'm dehydrated yet acne‑prone. My dermatologist suggested it and it works beautifully for me.

Rohit

Cetaphil moisturiser.

Moisturising and hydrating are two different things. Humectants like hyaluronic acid, beta‑glucan, glycerine, etc., pull water into the skin. Emollients such as oils and creams lock in that moisture. Occlusives form a seal to stop water loss. Some moisturisers contain all these ingredients in different ratios, but I find using a separate humectant (a hydrating toner or serum) together with a barrier cream (ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids) works best. I finish with a few drops of squalane oil if my skin feels really dry.

Sumit

Me and my friends all use MoistureX Hydra. We're pretty loyal to it at the moment.

Devendra

S. Nature – good if your skin handles squalene well.

Sonia

I really like MoistureX – it leaves the skin baby‑soft.

Vidya

Bioderma Autoderm moisturiser.

Pranav

This one's a bit controversial, but I love Ponds Super Light Gel – it's ultra‑light and smells amazing!
