I'm planning to buy these products for my super dry and sensitive skin that's got mild cystic pimples - can you guys tell me if there's anything I should avoid buying? If so, can you suggest some alternatives?

Raghav

Dove body polish scrub is a total waste, don't bother

Anil

you can get way better sunscreens for that price, trust me

Monica

for skincare, don't try to do everything at once, just add one product at a time to your routine and honestly, I wouldn't recommend salicylic acid for dry skin because it can make your skin even drier, but if you still want to buy it, just use it like 2-3 times a week max

Tanya

I think you should get the SA cleanser from Minimalist and maybe ditch the serum and the Cetaphil cleanser, or just use them if you're sure what you're doing, and yeah, RE' EQUIL is awesome, but Minimalist's Light Fluid Sunscreen is a great alternative and it's cheaper too, plus there are tons of other sunscreen options out there

Anil

if you're new to all this, don't try to use everything at once, just start with the basics and then add more products to your routine after like 5-6 months

Meera

if you're new to all this, don't use serums yet, just stick to the basics - cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, there's gonna be a lot of trial and error to find what works for you, and for dry skin, this sunscreen might be too drying, maybe try Blynds Emulgel SPF 40+ instead, just take it slow

Anusha

you don't really need that salicylic acid

Saritha

Cetaphil's cleanser is actually pretty good, you could also try CeraVe's hydrating cleanser, and the moisturizing lotion you picked is great too, I think you can skip Dove's exfoliating wash scrub for now, Minimalist's 2% salicylic acid is okay as long as you only use it once or twice a week, it can dry out your skin if you use it too much, so maybe just start with that once your skin is healthier after using a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen

Lakshmi

at 16, you should probably see a dermatologist and let them create a skincare routine for you instead of trying to figure it out on your own

Lakshmi

just stick to the basic CMS routine for now - cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, Nivea body lotion is good enough for a beginner, and that RE' EQUIL sunscreen is better for oily skin, so you might want to replace it, just let your moisturizer and sunscreen do the work for now
