LevelUp IAS account blocked

I never usually post on Reddit, but this has really left me frustrated.

My UPSC Mains is just around the corner - this is my 6th Mains and my last shot. Every single day counts. Instead of studying, I'm emailing support and waiting for someone to restore access to content I've already paid for.

Imagine paying for a UPSC course, opening your laptop to study, logging in on your phone to revise a few notes, and then being told you're involved in malicious activities.

My account got blocked just because I was using my own phone and my own laptop.

I get that they want to stop account sharing. But if the anti‑sharing system can't tell the difference between one student using two personal devices and actual misuse, the problem isn't the student - it's the system.

A warning, an OTP, or simply logging me out from one device would have fixed it. Blocking the account outright during the most crucial phase of preparation is simply unacceptable.

Has anyone else faced this with LevelUp IAS?

How long did it take for you to get the account back?

Akbar

That's why I prefer Telegram over those bulky teachers.

Kishore

Lol, I had my doubts about their online courses and policies, but I won't be taking any course from them.

Ayaan

Yes, I faced the same issue. I emailed them twice. They replied after 2 days, restored it, and said it shouldn't happen again just to rile me up. I ended up deleting their app and switched to their older batch available on Telegram.

In the name of protecting against piracy, these people are ruining accessibility for students. And mind you, if you have two monitors, the app won't even run, so I had to unplug the HDMI from one monitor every single time.

Rohit

Vision allows login from three places. Many people even take the batch in the group.

Mr Santosh is the most delusional teacher I have come across. He thinks he's some kind of pioneer, teaching subjects he has no expertise in.

He's adding over‑the‑top security on his lectures as if they're a goldmine.

If this message reaches you, Mr Santosh, please come out of your delusion - no one watches your video lectures even when they're freely posted on Telegram.

You should be grateful for the few paid students who actually subscribe to your content.

And don't make learning harder for those paid students; they're already scarce.

Shalini

Yeah, the app is lame - it doesn't work on my PC because I have a multi‑monitor setup, so I have to use the tablet version only for optional stuff.

Benny

Joining LevelUp was my first mistake.

Shobha

Such a crappy move. I never used LevelUp, but Vision, Vajiram and Raus apps have always let me use multiple devices with a single account. At most they log you out of one device. I need multiple screens because sometimes my Wi‑Fi doesn't work on my laptop, so I open their apps on my phone and use mobile data.

Right now I'm waiting for my account to be restored, studying hard, and once I clear the exam I'll go public and expose how aspirant‑unfriendly they are. This is the only way these new‑age coaching centres will learn a lesson.

Rani

LevelUp is riding its popularity right now, and that's why the attitude is so arrogant.

Vasant

Their support team is really terrible.
