Now some folks will say SLA, claiming Sai can't score.

Man, how much more does he need to prove? He's already improved his technique.

He tends to play fuller‑length deliveries off the off‑side while on the back‑foot - you can't judge that just by his hands.
His head drops across the line - that will get him trapped by the ball.
The biggest frustration in Indian cricket is that he doesn't even average 40 in Ranji, yet he's being handed the crucial No. 3 slot.

A player with sub‑par Ranji numbers and technical flaws is being promoted over proven domestic performers.

Gambhir behaves like a politician; my respect for Dhoni has grown because he actually backs players with solid Ranji records when replacing greats.

Naresh

Unrelated, but Auqib finally getting an India A call‑up is a good sign. I was worried he'd be overlooked after that domestic season.

He's a far better batsman than batting at number 11, lol.

Vivek

Sarfaraz has had terrible luck - he has a crazy Ranji average but wasn't getting chances while we had Pujara. The moment he retired, Sarfaraz got in and played some great knocks.

Rohit and Dravid backed him, but Dravid's tenure ended, Rohit retired, and now he isn't even in the squad or home Tests.

I hope that's not the case, but if Sai flops in the India vs Australia series I'll be really angry.

Sangeeta

More innings like this, please. He needs to spend long periods at the crease and learn to play big knocks - crucial for the No. 3 role.
