BStat (Amity) + Masters (IITs) vs BTech (Chandigarh Uni)

My name is Myquals, I just passed 12th with PCM. All my entrance results are out and none of them look good. I like maths, statistics and coding equally (haven't seen the syllabus yet) but my main goal is a high‑pay placement; I'm not interested in research.

The problem with BTech for me is the crowd - there's already a big job recession because of AI and it will probably get worse by the time I graduate (2030). So there will be lakhs of students competing for the same few off‑campus internships and jobs.

Another issue with statistics is that I can't find or talk to any stats graduates, so I don't have clear info about the job market there.

Based on this, which option is better for getting a great placement and job?

Also, I learned about the BStat course after the CUET deadline, so I can only consider private universities.

Side note: I used to think only ISI offers a BStat and other colleges give a BA or BSc in Statistics, but that's not true!

It's a legitimate career path, but you'll need a master's degree. Learning R and Python will help you succeed.
