Map of India's quick-commerce dark stores using public app data

[Ananya]

I made a map that shows all the quick-commerce dark stores in India using data from public apps

I created a live map that shows all the dark stores of Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart across India using data from their public app APIs. It's really interesting to see how dense and overlapping the network gets in big cities. You can check the map here: https://darkstores.vercel.app/. If you're interested, I can write up a short post about it.

I just checked my area and it's pretty accurate.

[Prakash]

Why are there so few locations in Gujarat?

[Siddharth]

Where can we use this data?

[Arjun]

This is a really cool project and it's fairly accurate. The locations match the ones I found on my invoices and in the apps themselves. One small suggestion I have is to add an option to zoom in to the current location by default or to search for an area or coordinates manually.

I just checked my area and I'd say it's very accurate. But I'm curious, how did you manage to scrape this data because from what I know, it's really tough to get.

[Riya]

Great job on this, the data visualization looks really clean

[Hardik]

The Zepto location in Bandra West is incorrect.

[Parth]

Are the Zepto and Blinkit stores in Bangalore hidden behind Swiggy stores?

[Preeti]

Where did you get this data from?

[Aravind]

How did you scrape the data?
