A minimal and consistent routine + sound sleep + low stress is the mantra for healthy skin ⭐

Edit: Since you all are asking the routine:-
My skin wasn't naturally clear or genetically gifted. I actually had atopic dermatitis since birth and dealt with a lot of eczema for around 10-12 years. I had loads of scarring underneath too. Thankfully, with age it started improving slowly.

I am very consistent with skincare overall, and my skin does respond to care. Whenever I stop looking after it, it becomes dry, dull, bumpy and rough-textured again – my skin really goes through cycles.

My tried-and-tested routine is quite simple:
- Face wash once a day usually, since I stay indoors most of the time; twice a day if I'm out.
- I use the Lotus Oatmeal and Yoghurt scrub once a week sometimes.
- The best product for hydration and healthy skin for me has been The Face Shop Rice Water Toner. It worked so well for my skin.
- Then I apply the Re'equil Ceramide Moisturiser.
- I shave my face frequently, which also removes dead skin and makes it glow.
- My skin is on the drier side, so after bathing I also apply a little coconut oil on damp skin sometimes; coconut oil has worked amazing for me.
- I know sunscreen is important but I'm usually at home so I skip it sometimes (sorry lol).

That's all.

I also have good and bad skin days very frequently because I have PCOS and stress plus sleep issues are common in my life. I've noticed that when I sleep properly and feel mentally better, my skin becomes much calmer automatically.
Drinking enough water and eating fruits regularly definitely helps too. I've been having chia seeds every day for the past few weeks!

Whenever I don't feel good about my skin or even just when I'm washing my face or looking in the mirror, I speak kind and positive words to myself instead of nagging and giving it negative energy (if that makes sense to you).
