Every evening after 4pm, when I sit down to study, I start daydreaming about life after the exam - will I relax, travel, start something new, think about places I might visit, friends I need to catch up with, etc. It's like a mental tug‑of‑war between what I want to do later and what I have to do now. It's hurting my concentration and memory. Any senior or mentor, please help me!

Let me give you the real picture if you ace the prelims. From the next day or two later, you'll start prepping for the Mains. And that preparation is even tougher - you'll have to write 3hr FLTs, cram endlessly, and feel anxious. This is the first stage of the Chakravhyu. Keep hustling. The road is long, but that's where the fun lies. All the best.
