The launch prices of the X300FE and Ultra are ridiculous! How can Vivo launch an FE phone - basically a rebranded S50 Pro Mini - at a price higher than their proper compact flagship X300? It uses the same camera setup as last year's X200FE, which was sold for 55k, and it's worse than the X300. Even the X200T, priced at 55k, has a decent 50 MP ultrawide, while this one only has an 8 MP sensor.

The chipset is just an upper‑midrange SD 8 Gen 5, not a flagship 8 Elite Gen 5 or D9500.

The X300 Ultra was overpriced, as expected. It's basically a camera with phone functions now. It does beat the S2X Ultra and iPhone Pro Max in camera performance, but the X300 Pro and Find X9 Pro can do about 95 % of what the X300U does for 60‑70k less.

It makes more sense to get a Vivo X300 or Oppo Find X9 in the 65k range, and their Pro models are available offline for around 85‑90k. The X200T remains the best value‑for‑money camera‑centric phone at about 50k. I wouldn't be surprised if Vivo drops these soon just to push people into buying the overpriced FE.

I couldn't be happier that I bought the X300.

Tushar

During sales, these will probably see massive price drops.

Paying 89k for an 8 MP ultrawide camera feels like these companies are looting us.

Kalpana

Why even launch phones like this? Even YouTubers can't justify the price.

I used to think the Xiaomi 17 Ultra at 1.4 lakh was a joke. Now this mess—who would buy it? The resale value of an iPhone alone beats this.

Shankar

They seem to be targeting only reviewers, professional photographers and bloggers for sales.

Ajay

In my opinion, it shouldn't have crossed 1.25 lakhs. Prices right now are crazy, and not many will spend that much on Vivo or Oppo devices. Even the Xiaomi 17U's price is a joke, especially with its weak brand value, buggy Hyper OS and poor customer support. Vivo and Oppo at least have better software and brand perception, but the pricing still isn't justified and people won't buy at these levels.

Nitin

The Vivo brand itself is a big turn‑off for me.

I got the Oppo Find X9 Pro for 84k from their online store... that price is insane unless they throw in a 30k discount.
