My boyfriend and I checked every corner before they came back, but mom still found a torn condom wrapper on the sheets and a take‑out dinner cover with tissues and another torn wrapper inside. I've tried everything – blaming a friend (she never comes over), saying it was a wrong order, even making balloons. My boyfriend and I really want to make it work, but mom won't listen and told me to cut him off completely (she used to like him a lot).
