The obvious sign is that they don't treat women like strangers; they treat you just like any other person. Usually, the moment I hear how they speak, I can tell.

Firoz

They aren't rattled by emotions, expressions or mood swings.

Saad

They don't romanticise platonic friendships.

Latha

They never post "how to get a gf" on Reddit.

This is what I've seen with my boyfriend and my brother:
1) They can keep platonic friendships with women without any drama.
2) They never shame you or stop you from wearing "sexy" outfits; my boyfriend actually encourages me to look my best.
3) They don't judge women based on what they wear.
4) They can be chivalrous without acting like "I'm the man" – you know what I mean.
5) They understand your emotions without being a jerk or saying "but you also did...". My boyfriend is so nice that he instantly works on anything I complain about. His communication skills are top‑notch.
6) They offer help without making you feel stupid, knowing you can handle things yourself too.
7) They trust your judgement and ask for your opinion on decisions.

Akhil

They don't resent you for having your own life, and they don't mind you wanting things.

Esha

They don't try to act macho or overly masculine around girls.

Aarti

They don't get triggered when you disagree with them.

Akash

Household chores are a no‑brainer. They cook, sew or darn, do their own laundry and take care of the housework when it's needed, so everyone can sit together and relax. This is true for everyone from my grandfather to my brother and in‑laws – many hands make light work.

Gopal

They'll be straightforward yet kind, and they won't blame or praise anyone's gender for anything – it's always about the individual.
