Minimalist freebies query

I've been using Minimalist stuff for about 5-6 years. I'm not a die‑hard fan, but I really like their niacinamide serum. In the photo, only two items – the SPF and the serum – were actually ordered by me. The other three showed up as freebies when I checked out.

Since they were sent as freebies, I'm a bit hesitant to try them.

Has anyone tried the face peel? I haven't used one myself.

Also, has anyone else gotten similar freebies from Minimalist lately?

I got the Minimalist Vit B5 moisturizer as a freebie and it works quite well. So yeah, I'd say they're safe to use, just check the expiry date and packaging first.

Do a patch test and don't use it if you don't need it. I received a B12 moisturizer - since it's just a moisturizer, I'm using it. They give freebies for promotion, but don't ruin your skin just because it's free.

Before using the AHA BHA peel, definitely read the instructions on the Minimalist website - peels are strong stuff and you don't want to mess up your face.

I've only tried their Fluid sunscreen, which I got as a freebie from Nykaa (small tube). It broke me out - my skin is dry but acne‑prone.

Irrelevant to the question, but the Light Fluid sunscreen is my holy grail! Hope you like it too.
