They kinda predicted the future.

Even now they find so many loopholes – imagine if the Constitution used simple language, with such a weak judicial system, where would our country be?

Arjun

Bhai, I'm a lawyer – the Constitution exam would literally fry my brain.

Indrajit

I mean, that's a common criticism of the Constitution – they call it 'Lawyer's Paradise'. For ages I thought the Constitution was meant for lawyers to read, not for ordinary folks.

Arjit

Made by lawyers, for lawyers, and about lawyers.

As Sir Ivory Jennings put it – 'for the lawyers, by the lawyers...'
There are plenty of criticisms of our Constitution, such as:
1. Too many 'ifs' and 'buts'
2. Overly long and complex for the average citizen
3. Power heavily vested in the centre via loopholes and sub‑clauses
...and many more.

Ravindra

That's a frequent gripe about our Constitution.
