2s¹: Lithium (Li) has a 2s¹ valence electron, while helium is 1s².
4s²: Calcium (Ca) shows a [Ar] 4s² configuration.
6s²: Barium (Ba) shows a [Xe] 6s² configuration.
4s¹: Potassium (K) shows a [Ar] 4s¹ configuration.

I honestly thought back in 9th grade that the term 'shift' only appeared in electronic configurations to sound scientific or some weird stuff, but later I realized it actually refers to a real shift.
