UPDATE [April 8]: MSI just emailed me saying they won't accept the RMA, blaming the straight‑line scratch on "improper transport packing". Since when does a cardboard box come with a box cutter? Shipping damage usually cracks a screen, not leaves a surgical‑blade line.

They completely brushed aside the main issue – the peeling QD‑OLED film – and are now threatening to "permanently blacklist" my monitor if I reject the return and it gets damaged in transit. I've lodged a formal grievance with the National Consumer Helpline and I'm refusing the delivery. Stay away from MSI, folks. Their L3 team is giving a masterclass in scamming.

I had a GTX 980 back in 2017 that started having fan problems. I sent it to MSI's service centre and when it came back it was dead. Since then I haven't bought anything from them. The service is just terrible here in India.

I was going to buy an MSI monitor last year, but ended up with a Samsung instead. Dodged a bullet.

Mohit

When I bought a monitor last year, the shop assistant warned me not to buy MSI because their RMA process is rubbish.

Bro, could you keep us posted? I've saved the post. I'm also looking at an OLED monitor and MSI models were on my radar.

MSI's after‑sales service is among the worst, right up there with Asus.

MSI also scammed me on a GPU repair. The trouble and money I lost fixing my GTX 970 was a nightmare – I wouldn't wish that on anyone. These guys are just unskilled looters.
