I agree. I pay once and get YouTube Premium plus YouTube Music, so it's the obvious choice. I don't really care about the algorithm because I just use my own playlists, but the UI is solid and it plays the songs I want.

I like it because I can listen to specific versions of songs that aren't on any album but are on the video. Spotify definitely wins on audio quality though.

No way. You can jam with friends on Spotify, blend tracks, see what they're listening to – there are tons of features. If you just want to hear music, either platform works.

Am I the only one still keeping a playlist of downloaded .mp3 files on my phone?

Sonia

I agree! One subscription for everything ❤️

The best thing about YT Music is its algorithm – it picks the perfect track from the right genre, film and era. Just play one song and you're set for a three‑hour road trip. Spotify can't even come close.

Yash

I just got a family plan for Spotify with my friends; it's only 30 rs a month.

Ronit

YouTube beats YouTube Music when it comes to song recommendations.

Harish

Of course, YT Music has been my go‑to since 2019.

Damini

I use both. YT Music streams at 256 kbps AAC, which is okay in the car but the sound gets fuzzy after a while. Spotify streams at 320 kbps, staying stable and clear, so I choose Spotify for the car, headphones and speakers. The higher quality on YT Music is only available with premium, so maybe you haven't noticed it.
