Bhavana

Today was my mains, scored over 250+.

When I was 10 days old, I lost my mother and my father refused to accept me as his son.

At 8, I lost my maternal great‑grandfather who had raised me.

At 12, my maternal grandfather, the dearest to me, passed away.

Also at 12, my aunt committed suicide right before my eyes.

At 13, my father and step‑mother divorced.

At 14, I started Olympiad preparation, thinking I was a super prodigy.

At 16, I got admitted to Medanta, but my mental health collapsed, my heart health went bad, and I didn't even have the courage to get out of bed. Society kept blaming me for my past.

I made a comeback, prepared well for JEE and scored 99.2 %ile, feeling like I'd smashed the paper.

I don't believe in giving up; I'm a living example that a 16‑year‑old can turn things around.

EDIT – Thank you all for the love, support, and care to a stranger. May God bless you all. Thanks again, my eyes are tearing up.

In January I had almost the same percentile... hoping for April like you. Well done, bro.

The 'W' was so big I had to kneel. Well done, man ❤️

I'm in 12th and going through the same phase you described.

- At 1.5 years old, there was a huge fight between my mom and dad, which made us leave home. Since then my aunt, maternal grandmother, and father have been raising me.
- I haven't spoken to my dad for 14 years.
- At 15, I got the news that my dad died. I saw his dead body, the last time I saw him after 14 years.
- At 16, my aunt started abusing me and my mom, and also fought with my grandfather and grandmother because they supported my education.
- My aunt told me to leave their house. Since then my grandfather, mother, and aunt have been raising me in an old home. Our finances fell drastically and we have no income source.
- My mom is mentally disturbed because of the shock of dad's death and my aunt's behavior; she's completely changed.

Now I'm aspiring for JEE. My 11th grade wasn't wasted, but it isn't perfect either – some chapters are still left. Hoping for the best in the remaining time.

I have a big 'W' in my bag that I want to give to my brother. If you ever need gardening tips, feel free to ask—my real passion is farming.

I was about to post about my struggle and how today's exam went, but after seeing this, I feel nothing compared to you. Hats off to your hard work, bro—dil se salute. You did great.

Proud of you, OP. Everyone has problems; it's just a matter of perspective <3

People worship actors as heroes, but I guess they haven't met you. You're the real hero! Good things are coming.
