Hey everyone! Big legal edu alert:

The Bar Council of India has just issued a stern advisory (June 25, 2025) warning that any LL.M. or equivalent law degree offered online, hybrid, distance, or under labels like "LL.M. (Professional)" or "Executive LL.M." is unauthorised without explicit BCI approval

That means:
  • 🛑 Degrees from such programmes are null & void ab initio - not valid for judicial service, teaching appointments, promotions, research registrations, or UGC‑NET eligibility
  • BCI has already sent show‑cause notices to top institutions like NLIU Bhopal, IIT Kharagpur, Jindal Global, and NLU Delhi
  • High Courts and the Supreme Court have been asked to reject such credentials unless candidates can show written proof of BCI sanctions

If you are considering an LL.M., especially through non‑traditional modes like online modules, please double‑check with the BCI registrar before enrolling. Don't let misleading titles fool you. This isn't just marketing, it's a hard‑hitting regulatory crackdown.

Yaar, picture this—Puducherry mein ek uncle, simple plastic jar aur ek sheet paper le ke, ek seedha-sa cobra ko dhyaan se trap kar leta hai! Bilkul tension nahi, total methodical vibe—pehle serpent ka head jar ke andar, phir pure body gentlee push, aur jab snake andar aa jata, toh paper slide karke jar ulta kar ke dhakkan tight!

Reddit pe log bhi full impressed hue. Ek ne bola:

Quote"That is one calm dude. Tip of the hat."

Aur doosra chakh gaya head-bob motion dekh ke:

Quote"The head shake at the end got me😂"

Log keh rahe the, "No need to kill, professional vibe hai—animal control ya village office wala banda ho sakta hai"

Bas yeh hi scene tha: casual, zero panic, and ekdum cool snake whisperer style. Snake safe, uncle chill—full classic Indian jhakaas moment! 🐍😁

Current Affairs & Indian News / Re: Rapido Turns You Into a "P...

Hahaha bro.....this is peak desi jugaad energy 😂 Rapido really said, "If you can't ride, get delivered!" I swear, only in India you will see a tech startup turning humans into parcels to beat legal loopholes.

On a serious note though, this is that classic grey area move. Technically, they aren't operating a bike taxi anymore, so they are not violating the letter of the HC ban. But the spirit of the law? Yeah, that's definitely getting stretched like an old Bajaj clutch cable 😅

Legally, it might fly short term unless someone challenges it again.  But long-term, regulators are bound to tighten this up. Still, gotta hand it to Rapido... their legal + product team must be working overtime on Red Bull and jugaad logic right now 🧠💡

Will it work? In India? Bro, anything can work with the right amount of inconvenience tolerance and jugaad support. But yeah, it's a ticking time bomb unless the legal framework catches up fast.

Current Affairs & Indian News / Re: Oil Treasure in Andaman? B...
Last post by saad - Jun 17, 2025, 12:12 PM
Arre yaar, if this Andaman oil reserve turns out to be legit, then we are looking at a proper economic game changer for India. Guyana went from being a relatively unknown country to an oil-rich star almost overnight. If something similar happens here, we could seriously reduce that massive 85% oil import bill bleeding our forex reserves.

Plus, with crude prices always at the mercy of geopolitics, having our own strong reserve means more control and stability, both for government policy and for common folks like us at the petrol pump. Imagine if fuel prices actually dropped for once instead of just "not increasing" 😅

That said, exploration is not a quick process. Even if ONGC is ramping up, it will take years before we see commercial extraction. And let us not forget environmental and geopolitical factors, especially given how close this is to international maritime zones.

But yeah, overall it is promising. If we play this right , this could be a massive win for Bharat's energy future. Fingers crossed 🤞

So apparently, since Karnataka High Court banned bike taxis, Rapido has come up with a full desi jugaad idea... they're now asking you to become a parcel and get delivered 😭

Like literally, instead of calling it a ride, they're tagging you as a "delivery package" and sending you from Point A to B. Just imagine you book Rapido, the rider shows up, and technically you are not a passenger anymore... you are a courier item 😂

Bro I was half-expecting the app to say "Please stay sealed and handle with care" 💀

On a serious note, how is this even legal? Isn't this just trying to bend the rules a bit too much? Or is this just Indian jugaad at its finest?

What do you guys think? Will this work? Or is this going to end up getting banned too?

Hey everyone, have you seen the latest buzz about India possibly sitting on a massive crude oil reserve in the Andaman Sea? Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri hinted that this discovery could be as big as Guyana's oil boom, which completely transformed their economy.

If this turns out to be true, it could be a game changer for India, reducing our dependence on oil imports (we currently import over 85% of our crude oil) and boosting our economy in a big way. Imagine the impact on fuel prices, job creation, and even India's global standing in the energy sector.

Of course, there's still a long way to go. Drilling and exploration take time, and there's no guarantee we'll strike oil at the scale we hope for. But with ONGC ramping up efforts and the government pushing for more exploration, things are looking promising.

What do you all think? Could this be the breakthrough India needs, or is it too soon to celebrate?

Personal Finance & Investing / Re: I am 46 and have 4.7 CR in...
Last post by saad - Jun 16, 2025, 10:54 AM
Let's break it down simple and easy – starting with your 4.72 crore investment.

🟢 Round 1: First 5 years after retirement

Split your money into two parts:

* Part 1: Take out your monthly expenses for the next 5 years.
  Say ₹1.5L/month × 12 months × 5 years = ₹90L.
Park this in a money market fund with an SWP (Systematic Withdrawal Plan). This will give you peace of mind for monthly needs.

* Part 2: The remaining ₹3.7Cr – invest it in an 80:20 equity:debt portfolio.
Now here is the trick – reduce equity by 20% every year and shift that to debt.
By end of 4 years, you'll be fully in debt. If the market does decent (say 10% average returns), this ₹3.7Cr could grow to around ₹6.2Cr in 5 years. 🎯

---

🟡 Round 2: After 5 years

Your money is now ₹6.2Cr. But hey, inflation! ₹1.5L/month may not be enough.

Assume expenses have gone up by 5% every year. Now you'll need around ₹2L/month, so keep ₹1.2Cr aside for the next 5 years.

The rest ₹5Cr? Invest it the same way as Round 1.

---

🟠 Round 3: After next 5 years

This ₹5Cr might grow to around ₹8Cr (again assuming 10% growth). Take out ₹1.5Cr for expenses, invest the balance ₹6Cr again the same way.

---

🔴 Round 4: And so on...

Now that ₹6Cr grows to maybe ₹11Cr... pull out ₹2Cr for your next 5 years' expenses, and invest ₹9Cr again.

Repeat this method. Your money keeps growing, you're beating inflation, and living stress-free!

---
