Title: My weight loss story - 15kgs down!
Post by: Nath on Mar 06, 2026, 12:53 PM
Hey guys, I just lost around 15 kg in 4-5 months and I thought I'd share what I ate during that time. Maybe it'll help someone out. I'm not posting full recipes here, that's coming later with pics and all the macro details. Also, don't expect this to be super budget-friendly. One thing that really worked for me is skyr - it's so versatile, high in protein, and not too high in calories. You can have it with pretty much any meal, sweet or savory. Like, have it on the side with fruits, or add it to curries, or use it instead of dressing in salads or burritos. You can flavor it with whatever seasonings you like and it tastes pretty good. If you're having it with sweet stuff, just add some artificial sweetener or sugar/honey, but keep an eye on the calories.

That oil spray is a total game-changer - it cuts calories from over 200 to less than 20! Glad to hear about your progress, all the best with your fitness goals!

Which oil spray bottle did you use? I tried one and it was really bad.

Your skyr trick reminded me of this one time I was mixing it into curry at 11 PM, thinking I was some kind of genius. And yeah, I've had my share of frozen fruit 'ice cream' that tasted more like cinnamon. But that bean bowl tip is really helpful. So, I wanted to ask - what's one weird food combo that actually worked for you and kept you full and happy during your weight loss journey? I'm looking for more ideas to try!

What type of Skyr yogurt were you using?
