The story unfolds so naturally, feeling completely real and grounded. There's no unnecessary drama or forced emotions—just pure storytelling that hits you harder with every scene. The poetry, the music, the slow pacing—all of it builds an emotional weight that lingers even after the film ends.

Udaan stays relevant because child abuse is still a harsh reality.
Motwane can truly whip up some of the finest parallel cinema.
Is this the new version of Udaan or the old one?
One of the best Bollywood movies ever—10/10, a must‑watch. It's criminally underrated. Even the music album is amazing; the lyrics and tunes are superb, yet you hardly hear anyone playing it. 'Aazaadiyan' is one of my favourite tracks. (Subah ki kirno ko roke jo salaakhein hain kahan, jo khayalon pe pehre daale wo aankhein hain kahan?)
Udaan, Ugly, and Taare Zameen Par are three films that make me cry buckets—absolutely heartbreaking.
