Title: Why is CAT always suggested to PCB grads?
Post by: Akash on Mar 28, 2026, 10:12 AM
I was a PCB student too, and when NEET 2025 didn't work out I asked for advice here. Many suggested I go for CAT. I ended up picking a random B.Sc. degree and I still peek at this sub now and then to see if there's a better path than what I'm doing. To my disappointment, CAT keeps getting recommended.

What's the deal with that exam? Why is it always the go‑to suggestion? What are the advantages? Isn't it getting over‑suggested by now? What kind of jobs does CAT open up? And what can a B.Sc. Forestry graduate do if they clear the exam?

Just watch it on YouTube, that's how people ask in this AI era.

There isn't any other job that pays enough to get by. It's either CAT or a government job.

Exactly. Government job or CAT – those are the only two suggestions you get.

No surprise you didn't clear NEET. My advice: don't even think about CAT. With that IQ you might not even land a peon's job.
