Title: Mineral drops for water?
Post by: Suresh on Mar 28, 2026, 09:22 AM
Hey! Any nutritionist around? I've just realised how important minerals are in drinking water, but my RO system strips them all out. Is it a good idea to start adding mineral drops to my daily water? Please help. Also, which brand would you recommend? Thanks.

Okay, tell me... Why would someone spend lakhs on Kangen water? Everyone would buy it if there was a good reason. What's the point? These kinds of products existed long before Kangen.

I don't get why people still trust Carbamide Forte. Are they just unaware or new to health stuff?

Next time your RO gets serviced, ask the technician to adjust the TDS if you're worried about minerals and want your drinking water to be a decent source of them.

Carbamide Forte products are terrible.

Your stomach acid destroys alkaline water before it reaches your bloodstream, so the drops do nothing. As for minerals, it provides only 0.00045% of your daily magnesium per serving – you'd have to finish the whole bottle about 5,500 times to meet the RDA.

You should adjust the TDS setting on your RO unit – a good range is 50 to 150 ppm. Ask the technician or check a YouTube tutorial. As for alkaline water, you can make your own by adding a pinch of baking soda, but it's a scam – don't fall for it.

Generally, it's a good idea to add back trace minerals to RO water.

I'm not sure about the drops, but never trust Carbamide Forte.

Alkaline water, overall, is a scam.
