Lesson: Don't trust uncles or aunts (except your parents, of course). These days millennials and Gen X are getting desperate and know many ways to scam you. No matter how educated someone is, if they're an asshole they'll stay an asshole.

Lesson 2: Some jokers claim the government doesn't care about innovation. That's how people treat public money—if the government funds someone with taxpayers' money, 90 % of it ends up in their pockets.
