Nice to see him reinventing himself. After a string of solo flops, he was almost forgotten.
Can any true Bollywood fan tell me – if he hadn't been wrapped up in controversies and legal troubles, could he have become a lead on par with the Khans? Maybe a Sunny Deol-type with a few big hits? Or is he simply a solid actor like Akshaye Khanna?
His aura is powerful and his personality downright badass.
It must feel great to earn that much just by playing himself.
People are calling him the Zoe Saldana of Bollywood.
Some say he repeats the same role, but we don't mind. His screen presence and aura are among the best and make up for everything. He's one of the few who never gets overshadowed, even beside stars like Selmon, Bacchan, Rajni or Vijay.
Since 2012, films like Sos, Agneepath, PK, KGF 2, Leo, Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 have been houseful hits – five of them even turned into successes. Good for him.
I don't care what folks say about him playing himself in every film; I loved his performance in Dhurandhar.
He played the main antagonist in three out of the four movies.
Sp Aslam is the best possible casting, since the original character was inspired by Sanjay Dutt himself.
