Is this reality or just unrealistic expectations?

My friend's dad retired from SBI after 30 years, and I can say this guy lives in a delusional world.
He's really over‑the‑top.
$15 k a month? What nonsense is that?

Besides the job, there's also ancestral property. My friend in the Indian Army has agricultural land and a house worth about 12‑15 crore, and he still serves as an officer.
Is he even adding corruption to the story?
Totally fake.
In 15 years, an IBPS PO with regular promotions would probably earn around 2.25 lakh per month.
The take‑home won't be that high—more like 2 to 2.5 lakh, and with allowances it easily crosses 3 lakh. At AGM/DGM level you get a car, house, security guards, plus a scholarship scheme for officers' kids, so most of that is doable.
My dad is an AGM at a public sector bank, and this guy is just spouting numbers. Who are these people?
