Title: Best way to remember alphabet numbers/code
Post by: Aarti on Jun 28, 2026, 12:48 PM
The easiest way to remember the alphabet numbers is using EJOTY - E is 5, J is 10, O is 15, T is 20 and Y is 25. This saves you time. Give it a try in a mock test and tell me if it works for you.

If anyone has more tricks for remembering these, share them here. I'll be waiting.

In the multiples of 3, CFLORUX - and of course EJOTY was already there, thought I'd share this too.

If you practice enough reasoning, you'll be able to memorise it without any tricks. You'll also get good practice - don't chase shortcuts, just study.

EJOTY+ works for me: E-5, Fix-6, Hate-8 (H-eight), J-10, Mai-Tera-13, O-15, Q-17, Ratthra (ratt-atthra)-18, T-20, U-21 (live), W-23 (like Main-13 flipped), Y-25.

Just jot it on the rough sheet the exam centre gives - it takes barely 15 seconds. It's quick, accurate and gives you a clear visual of the numbers opposite each letter. You can do it while filling in your name or in any spare moment before the game starts.
