I got married just a few months ago and everything is still new for us. While we're comfortable with each other, I still feel a bit awkward directly saying I want to be intimate. I don't want to kill the mood or make things uncomfortable.
So I'm asking all the married couples here (especially those who have been together for a while):
How do you hint or signal to your partner that you're in the mood for sex?
Do you use:
- special looks, touches, or gestures?
- cute code words or phrases?
- flirty messages during the day?
- certain routines or timing?
Anything else that works well in an Indian marriage? Would really appreciate honest replies from both husbands and wives.
Finding time for intimacy after marriage can be tough?
Wow.
You need to flirt a lot ✅
Try watching a movie together... scenes often get you in the mood!
Just be straightforward and ask her, like Faizal bhai did with Huma Qureshi in Gangs of Wasseypur.
Try a playful dance together

For us it usually happens when we both want a drink.
I don't know your personalities, but here's my two cents.
If only one of you is in the mood, forcing the other can backfire. Don't treat sex as a destination. Share plenty of hugs and kisses throughout the day that aren't aimed at sex. Have an afternoon cuddle nap without any expectations - if it leads to intimacy, great, if not, that's fine too.
Once you've built that habit, you can whisper your desire during a hug or cuddle. Use that intimate time to connect mentally. Keep phones away unless you both want to scroll together - that can be fun too.
Project a light on the wall and let your shadow do the talking.

I just read the title... is it really that hard?
