Just so you know, these price hikes are not a one-off thing; they're here to stay.

What about smartphones? Why aren't they seeing the same hike?

Apple doesn't just raise prices, they double them and pass the hike onto the next buyer!

Why the sudden hike now? Apple's already making solid margins in India.

It would have made sense if it was only for RAM or SSD upgrades. Why on earth did they hike the price for HomePods?

Picked up a 13-inch iPad Pro (M5) just a week ago for 130k. Phew!

Apple does not have to swallow the extra cost of semiconductors and RAM.
Do you also expect Apple to cover the loss from the rupee dropping 12-13% against the USD and even more against the euro in the past year?
Explain how Apple can be a charitable company that runs at a loss just so we get freebies.
This is the problem many Indians face. The rupee has been hammered and nobody seems to care. Apple hikes its prices and the crowd goes wild on Reddit. Forget that.
