Pune, Maharashtra - Rural Police SP Sandeep Singh Gill said, "On 18 June 2026, an engaged couple, Siya Goyal and Ketan Agarwal, went to Lohagad Fort. Siya called to report that Ketan slipped and fell from the fort, killing him... Later, investigations and talks with relatives and friends raised doubts. It didn't look like a simple accident, especially since Ketan was an experienced trekker. The family wasn't convinced and filed a formal complaint. Through secret sources, witness statements and technical evidence, police found that Siya had a friend named Chetan Chaudhary. They'd known each other for about a year and planned the act. At Lohagad Fort they pushed Ketan, causing his death. Lonavala Rural Police have filed a murder case. Both have been arrested and, during interrogation, they confessed. The probe is ongoing."
