I'm thinking of joining the library for a more consistent study environment, but I also feel I can study better at home. What's your opinion - is it really worth it?

You already have your answer in the second line.
If you can study at home without any problem, then don't go. Set daily goals and complete them.
Go to the library - at home you never know how time flies. A single distraction can eat half a day, so great self-control is needed if you study at home.
I prefer studying at home.
Go with your gut. Anyway: study at home for one day and record your productivity. Then study in the library (most libraries offer a 1-2 day demo) and record that too. Compare and decide.
It's not a library, just a study room!
Join the library ASAP. Don't study at home. You'll see the change within a week.
