The father's Instagram is anjani6490 - check the full story and help spread the word. The college and police haven't taken any action on their son's death or held anyone responsible.

One big reason we keep forgetting why we shouldn't go to Aatu Jhaatu college - just search it yourself and you'll find ragging videos, students being beaten with thick belts.
RIP - this is so sad.
Don't make us cry at night, brother.
Very tragic.
RIP poor soul. People are so cruel these days.
Heard it was suicide because he got low grades and CGPA.
Seniors told me it was likely suicide due to backlogs and low CGPA, but they also said the management did some shady stuff - they entered his room without police permission to clean it or something. (I know they might just be defending the college, so take it with a grain of salt.)
Let me clarify: seniors said the student's mental health had been poor for a long time. He had failed several subjects and his attendance was very low. This is most likely a suicide case and the parents aren't ready to accept it. There are strict ragging laws in MIT Manipal. Last year many students were rusticated just for asking juniors for intros. There's no way ragging could be so severe that they literally murdered him. The police are still investigating, as far as I know, and I hope justice is served.
I saw this a few months ago and the father's IG. It's really sad - nothing worse than a parent losing their child.
This is the kind of news I saw two weeks before starting college.
