I have oily skin and I sweat a lot. Most moisturisers either sit heavy on my face, make me look greasy or somehow make me sweat more. My derm recommended Acnemoist, but I couldn't get past the fragrance. Then I tried Re'equil Oil Free Mattifying Moisturiser; it was okayish, not great, and Minimalist B5 somehow made me sweat a lot after applying it. After scrolling through countless posts and reviews here, I finally narrowed it down to Cipla Excela and IPCA Acne OC. I decided to try Acne OC first and see how it goes. I've been using it since the end of March and it has been a winner for me so far. It's probably the first moisturiser that feels like it was truly made for people like me. It's light, doesn't leave a sticky feeling, doesn't make me sweat after application and works really well under makeup too. At this point I'm so happy with Acne OC that I don't even feel like trying Excela anymore. ✨ Just wanted to come back and thank this sub. Although... would still love to hear from anyone who's used both Acne OC and Excela.

Have you used Ponds Super Light Gel? I also have really oily skin and, while it's quite lightweight, it doesn't control oil production. Do you think this one helps with that?
Which sunscreen are you using? I have the same issue of excessive sweating and it turned out my sunscreen was the culprit. I did some research and I'm thinking of buying Biore UV Aqua sunscreen because it's very lightweight.
Totally relate, yaar. I have oily and acne‑prone skin. The Re'equil Moisturiser made my face feel oily and somehow increased my sweating after applying. I switched to Acne OC after some research, and it's been perfect so far (just one month of use) - non‑greasy and it doesn't make me sweat after applying. Now I'm on the hunt for a sunscreen that works just as well. Re'equil and UV Doux both left a white cast, and another derm‑prescribed sunscreen (Sunblock Acne OC) made my face look dull. I'm trying Deconstruct next and hoping for the best.
I think Excela might not suit you. I have the same skin type and I sweat a lot too. I found Excela a bit heavy on my skin, so I only use it on winter nights. CeraVe HA Water Gel is my recent favourite - give it a try.

Acnemoist is really bad - that fragrance made my skin feel worse. My dermatologist gave me Excela, and it's great. In humid weather it feels a bit sweaty, so I stopped using it during the day and now use it at night. A daytime‑only sunscreen works for me. I've never used Acne OC, but I'll try it once Excela is finished.
Acne OC is really nice. Acnemoist felt oily for some reason.
