Title: PCB stream: which college to choose?
Post by: Dhruv on Jun 20, 2026, 09:07 PM
So I cleared 12th with PCB. Long story short, because of major hurdles I ended up taking three drops for NEET:
2023 - 505
2024 - 633
2025 - 508
2026 - 628. I have decided to quit this year if I don't get an MBBS seat in the re-NEET. I also appeared for CUET with PCB, English and GAT. My scores are:
640/750 PCB
825/1000 PCB+Eng
927/1250 PCB+Eng+GAT
I want to stay in a science stream as I truly love science. Due to my age I couldn't go for IISER or NISER, otherwise I would have taken that. I'm clueless about CUET procedures and other colleges. I'd be really grateful for any advice on courses and colleges. I'd prefer not to do a plain BSc. My only qualification is 12th passed.

I'm in the same boat. My 3rd May exam score was 500, and my raw CUET score is 590/750 in PCB. I looked into many PCB courses, but B.Sc. Agriculture seems the only option with decent scope for government exams related to agriculture. By the way, bro, if you study hard for the last 30 days you'll have confidence to get MBBS. If MBBS doesn't come through, BAMS or BDS are also reachable.

Consider B.Pharm or B.Sc. Agriculture, then you can directly move to a Tier-1 MBA in CKG.

You could also consider veterinary studies.

Going for veterinary is a better choice.

It would be a mistake not to consider a private MBBS even with your score.
