My brother is looking for an FP&A opportunity, please help if you can.
I'm not just posting for a referral; I'm genuinely worried about my brother and don't know what else to do.
He works at a Big‑4 firm in US Taxation. For the past 3 months he has been working from 8 AM to 11 PM every day-no weekends, no breaks. The reason? His MD keeps taking on more clients than the tiny team can handle. The team is just 2 people - my brother (an associate) and a manager. The MD adds clients to impress, sets deadlines without consulting anyone, and dumps all the pressure on my brother because he's the most junior.
We have daily meetings, constant "kab hoga kab hoga" from the MD and zero acknowledgement of the workload. Even though it's non‑busy season, the MD had already over‑committed, so it never really eased up. Now another 3‑4 months of peak season is on top of this.
For the past 4 days he's had a high fever, typhoid, stomach ache, bad headache and body ache - he can barely get out of bed, let alone work. Yet the MD keeps messaging and pressuring him.
He is the sole earner of our family, which is why he hasn't quit yet, but I know he needs out.
FP&A isn't a random switch; it's been his goal for a while. Even while handling this insane workload he has been upskilling for FP&A. He knows where he wants to go and is working towards it.
If anyone has or knows of an entry‑level FP&A opening, please DM me.
His qualifications:
- BBA from Delhi University
- MBA in Finance (Delhi NCR)
Experience:
- 1.5 years as Customer & Operations Analyst
- 1.5 years US Taxation at Big 4
Please share this if you can. Even one lead could change everything for him right now.
TL;DR
My brother has been working 8 AM‑11 PM for 3 months straight at a Big 4 due to a toxic MD who overloads a 2‑person team. His health is deteriorating and he's still being pressured. He's the sole earner, has an MBA in Finance, 1.5 years US Tax experience, and is upskilling for FP&A. Looking for any entry‑level FP&A opportunity. Please DM or share.
Tell him to contact recruitment agencies such as Randstad, ABC Consultants and the like. They only charge a fee when you actually get placed, so they're a good option.
