How are you all doing?
This was my 1st attempt.
I compared my answers with forumIAS and, guess what, I couldn't score more than 45.
Never imagined 20 months of prep could fall apart like this.
How are you managing? I tried hard not to read the analysis, but still.
Maybe it's time to say goodbye and go back to a job.
Now I understand why people say prelims drain you.

Qismat hamari aaj hi chal gayi.
Where can I find the forum answer key?
What job? Have you left your job for this preparation?
I scored 84.67 in the collector exam. I don't know what to do. I feel completely broken.
Five years of prep, how am I supposed to feel now? It's finally time to step out of this field.
I left my job two years ago and have no idea how to get back or explain the gap :)
I'm done. I wanted to sit for 2027, but after this year I won't waste another year. I already have a state government job, so I'll stick with that, aim for promotions, maybe try for state PCS, but I can't let my life stay on hold. I'll go out, shop, dine, watch movies, work out-everything. Enough of this. Nothing is working despite over 60 sectionals, 10 FLTs, 15 years of PYQs, CA, coaching notes, static and mapping. Nothing helped. I'm just over it.
P.S. Maybe I'll just randomly aim for 2027, because whether I prepare or not the paper will be random, so let my preparation be random too.
Most of my hunches were right, but I only attempted 64 questions.
Those who attempted last time will get this Milkha Singh line:
'Daudunga bhi waise hi...'
I'm in the same boat, friend. I had mastered geography, polity and economics and used to score consistently above 120, but the exam today let me down.
