I mean it's an Imtiaz Ali film, the same director who gave us gems like Tamasha, Rockstar and Highway.
I'm really intrigued by the story; Vedang looks quite good—especially that shy moment in the trailer. He's a newcomer I'm genuinely rooting for.
Sharvari and Diljit have done solid work before, and what can I say about Mr Shah.
But there doesn't seem to be much buzz.
Is nobody interested, or does the trailer give away too much, or are people just unaware of the film?

I liked the trailer—very typical Imtiaz Ali.
Same old story repeated. I could narrate the whole plot; there's nothing new in this film.
All Imtiaz films find their audience after about five years. I can't recall the last time he delivered a commercial box-office hit.
I'm watching it in theatres because I love the cast and concept, but I don't see it becoming a big theatrical success.
I love the songs; they've been on repeat, but I'm not sure if I'll watch it in theatres. The concept feels repetitive, but Imtiaz gets the soul right.
Yeah, people aren't hyped for it, but the same folks called it a MASTERPIECE after a few years.
No!!! I felt super excited about a film after watching the trailer for a long time! The music is great too.
It seems like a Love Ajj Kal type story.
PEHLE JAA TO SAHI.
I think Sharvari's character will die—maybe it's inspired by the Millennium actress, who knows.
I like the concept. People keep saying 'partition par kitni movies banengi. Milking the concept.'
I say the more movies made about partition, the fewer they are.
No, you're not. I'm extremely biased because I love his films—I'm a huge fan. I'm very excited for this... I rewatched Chamkila a few weeks back; it was a masterpiece biopic, very well made. I'm loving the music in this new one so far, the trailer hit the right spot. Can't wait for the first-day first-show!!!
