Yeah, Yahoo deleted my dad's account without even telling us.
21-year-old, using it for the past year.
Yahoo is still around.
I've been using it for 19 years now.
I want to try it, but it's asking for my phone number.
I had one, but it got deleted automatically.
Now it does, they changed the policy from giving 1TB of email storage to just 15GB.

Because Yahoo doesn't store or backup data.

I have this grandfathered account with 1TB of storage. Before Gmail, Yahoo was pretty popular, and I created this account about 9 years ago.
It was a solid, non-ecosystem email provider, but their multiple breaches, lack of enterprise features, and aggressive data collection made it unusable for me.
Still planning to use it, tired of Google's ecosystem paradox and AI fluff, same with Microsoft.
People forget that Yahoo used to offer just 4 MB of storage and charged for 10 MB.
