Brother, a better method is to take a hand towel, wet it - not soaking, just damp - wrap the phone in it, and when the battery is near 90% remove the towel. It works very well and the phone hardly heats up.
Bro, just take a damp cloth or some hand sanitizer and clean the fan. Are you using an iPhone and letting the fan get that dirty?

We also had that kind of fan until last year. Since my parents got married, it was a bit emotional to toss it in the garbage truck.
Just put it in the freezer for 5 minutes, then charge it. After it reaches about 20-30%, put it back in the freezer for a bit, then plug it in again.
