Family says that on the night of 14 May 2026, Dr Anuja Sharma - already weak from kidney failure, on dialysis and a previous brain stroke - was physically assaulted by her elder son Soumya Dixit, who hit her hard on the head.

Even though she was in a critical state, with worsening symptoms, vomiting and constant decline, it is claimed that proper emergency treatment and advanced care were deliberately withheld after she was brought back from the hospital.

Dr Anuja Sharma passed away within a few hours in the early morning of 15 May 2026 under very suspicious circumstances. Relatives add that for almost ten years the local police knew about Soumya Dixit's violent behaviour and repeated domestic abuse complaints, but never took effective action. They also say Sudhir Dixit kept covering up and enabling Soumya's violence instead of protecting his mother.

The younger son, Anuj Kumar Dixit, is now demanding an independent, transparent and swift investigation, preservation of CCTV footage, forensic examination of medical records, and strict legal action against everyone responsible.

Idle mind is the devil's workshop. Too much money and no control by the father spoiled Soumya Dixit to the point that he regularly beat his parents.

Soumya Dixit is a seasoned criminal; when caught red‑handed he often hides behind a mental‑health excuse. Yet he wants to claim Anukampa nyukti for his late mother and take all the property. How can someone supposedly mentally unstable manage a job and property?

A case has been filed with reference no 11/2026 under Section 194 (BNSS) at Shiprapath Police Station, handled by ASI Mr Sumer Singh.

The video shows a few seconds after the assault on the mother, where Soumya Dixit directs the remaining aggression towards his own father Sudhir Dixit.
