Just so you know, these bars usually last about 8 to 15 months. My previous one gave way on the grip and I ended up dropping to my knees.

One thing to note - I have one myself and the main issue is that my hands should be farther from my elbows when I pull, but my door frame restricts that. So make sure the space you plan to install it in can accommodate your build and that your weight is within the bar's specifications. Also, tighten it every single time you use it because the grip can loosen over time.

No, they're not that reliable - avoid them unless you're trying to save money. You could get injured; they tend to loosen after a few weeks, so if you do buy one, make sure it's tight every time you hang. The screwed‑in versions are much better, though they cost more.

Never. These things are risky - they can snap at any moment and cause injuries. Even if they work, you never feel safe while working out.

Pick the bar with the largest contact area, not this one. Bigger contact area means more friction and it can hold more weight. I've been using mine for over a year, even hanging my rings from it, and never had any issues. Also, extend it as tightly as possible.

Get something like this, bro - don't go for the suction ones. This one isn't going anywhere for your lifetime.

No, it's fine - I've been using this for the past six months.

I also have this, and the chance of it falling or slipping is very low, so you're unlikely to get injured.

You can build a supportive block around the wall where it locks in and won't move. Make a U‑shaped wooden piece and have a carpenter fix it to the wall. Then you can slot the bar from the top into the U‑shape, so it won't shift left or right or go down. The rod can be easily removed from the top when you need it.

I bought a Boldfit bar for just 1.8k and it's been almost two years now, still working fine. Worth it, ha.

Got the best one from Amazon two years ago - still worth it!
