Rewatched it recently. Overall, the film feels poorly executed. The second half is blank, rushed and emotionally undercooked. We barely see the real struggle of pregnancy, Sam's issue with kids never gets explored properly, and his character arc just doesn't land. But the first half? It's genuinely one of the best rom‑com openings I've seen in an Indian film. The character introductions flow smoothly, nothing feels rushed, and the vibe just works. Two people deciding to live together to understand each other better was a fresh concept for a 2005 Bollywood movie. It felt modern without trying too hard. If the second half had the same care and writing, this could've been an all‑time great Bollywood rom‑com for me. P.S. Siddharth Anand really needs to make more rom‑coms.

Sid Anand's work in the romance genre is top‑notch. I'm not downplaying his action films, but I'd love to see him back to romantic movies.
Also, the two leads are extremely good‑looking, right at the peak of their looks.
It's basically a free remake of a Hollywood film from nine months ago.
Man, the so‑called South Indian boss going 'Humburrrrr' is still so grating.
The first half of I Hate Luv Storys is top‑notch, but the second half just drags the whole movie down.
I lost my mind at how great Preity and Saif looked, and those outfits...so trendy and cool for the 90s kids. Even if the movie released today, the fashion would still stand out.
Not at all! The first half was so cringe.
Can you tell me the cast?
Oh! What a film, it still feels fresh.
One of the best movies of PZ and one of the best movies of Saif.
