Title: Why everyone’s obsessed with The Whole Truth
Post by: Latha on May 16, 2026, 01:11 AM
Just saw a post about TWT yesterday and today I came across this article, so here's my two cents on this so‑called "clean brand". Every single fitness influencer keeps hyping it like it's some god‑tier brand, yet the whey protein costs around £4,500 for 1 kg. Bhai, I'm a student – who can afford that in today's economy? And now FSSAI has called them out on the "no added sugar" claim because they're using dates or date powder as sweeteners while marketing the product as super healthy and different. End of the day, sugar is still sugar, bro.

What's even funnier is how people defend this brand whenever someone questions the price. £9,000 for 2 kg whey is insane when there are good brands that are much cheaper. I tried one of their bars once because everyone online kept raving about it, and it felt overrated. The taste was just normal – nothing life‑changing. I don't get why there's such a herd mentality here.

FSSAI is a joke. What are they even trying to prove by sending that notice?

They spend huge money on paid marketing across all social platforms and try to make it look organic. In reality, most of it is paid – a tactic many brands use. It creates FOMO, making people think real customers are posting about the brand. If you contradict them, there's an entire army ready to bash you in the comments, especially on Reddit and X.

WTF, brands put a 'no added sugar' label but still add jaggery. FSSAI is literally useless. Bhai, get some facts straight before blaming TWT.

Exposed? What exactly was exposed? Every brand that uses an artificial sweetener can put 'no added sugar' on the label – it's pretty clear. Their label is quite transparent. Maybe FSSAI didn't get the bribe they wanted and are now harassing them. You can like it or not, but stop the hate‑bait. If you can't afford it, buy something cheaper. You don't hate Apple just because you can't buy an iPhone, right?

Looks like TWT didn't send the money in advance, and the competitor's payment arrived first.

This whole 'light on the stomach' hype started with TWT, and now every type‑C influencer repeats it while promoting any protein powder. Whether they know if someone is lactose intolerant or not, they push isolate because it 'feels very light', even without trying a concentrate or blend.

A health‑conscious person would read the label and see that it contains dates. It's not a secret; it's clearly mentioned. I'm happy to have something with no added sugar that still tastes good. Even many diabetics check labels carefully. I don't see who's being harmed – 'no added sugar' isn't misleading at all.

Out of everything, I love how FSSAI sent a notice to The Whole Truth.

I don't get why many people think dates are somehow healthy while sugar is bad. Raw dates have fiber that can lower the GI, sure. But when dates are used as a sweetener in processed foods like chocolate, it's still added sugar with the same effects. All sugar ultimately comes from plants. Their whole 'no added sugars' claim is just false marketing.

I understand the anger at FSSAI for selective enforcement, but in this case – specifically their Dark Chocolate – they were clearly in the wrong, and the new 'Sweetened with Dates' label is 100 % more truthful.
