I was super lucky on Facebook Marketplace, found this listing and quickly grabbed the 5070. But I just found out the warranty isn't valid in India. Still think it's a good deal.

In my opinion, very few products fail within the warranty period, so you should be fine.

No, mate, your main worry should be customs.
What a deal!
Customs won't be a problem. From my experience, US-made models are a bit sensitive to voltage fluctuations, so be careful. I had two GPUs from the US fail within 1-2 months because I wasn't using a UPS.
Pack the GPU separately and fill the box with clothes or other stuff.
You could bring it back and sell it for double the price here, and someone would still buy it.
Aren't items up to $500 total allowed through customs? I could be wrong, but you can check it.
I bought a Zotac 5060 here in India last year for the same price. The country really needs to lower GPU duties.
PNY and Galax are solid brands. Where I live, PNY, Zotac and Galax are the go-to choices, while Asus and Gigabyte tend to overprice for minor factory overclocks or cooler upgrades. Don't worry about the warranty; GPUs are pretty sturdy. If you're shipping it without the box, at least keep it in its anti-static bag and add some bubble wrap.
