Title: Guy seems to hate MI
Post by: Rajesh on May 11, 2026, 10:58 PM
Why is Team David so upset with MI?

Reason - not retained before the mega auction with MI or he just got out on the first ball?

In IPL 26, the first clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and MI, Tim David argued with the umpires over a ball change and seemed suspicious about the replacement ball. That clip went viral and some fans thought he was targeting MI.

He was later fined for not following umpire instructions, not for insulting MI.

What is the reason why he's so upset with MI??

Mumbai was his ex, so it's justified.

Must be something to do with MI management or the umpire decisions.

I guess it wasn't aimed at MI directly; it was at Nitin Menon for checking that second run so many times.

That's why we're dead last on fair-play.

Maybe it's about the umpires?
OP should've posted the full video.

Context:

Reporter: Did you see Tim David's inappropriate reaction after Bhuvi's six?

Krunal: Look, whenever we face MI, we're told not to waste reviews early because close decisions often swing their way in the death overs. Our dugout couldn't believe they didn't properly check my six and called it a dot ball. Tim's reaction may have looked inappropriate, but his frustration had a reason.

Anyway, looks like he'll get fined.
