Title: Malai chicken – no cream, no oil
Post by: Sharmila on May 08, 2026, 10:28 PM
Take 250g raw chicken breast, 3 tbsp Greek yogurt, 1 small onion, 4 finely chopped garlic cloves, 1 tbsp ginger‑garlic paste, 30g mozzarella cheese, and 1 spoon kasoori methi. Air‑fry at 190°C for 18 min, flipping at the 10‑minute mark.

The air‑fryer has really changed the game for us.

Hey buddy,
Can I swap the chicken for paneer? Have you ever tried this recipe with paneer?

Mine tends to stick to the bottom.

Can an air‑fryer give that tandoor‑style roast?

Is that a badly scratched Teflon tray under your chicken?

OP, I strongly suggest swapping it for a ceramic or stainless steel plate. Look up "Teflon poisoning" for more details.

Try using a sheet of aluminium foil.

Isn't 18 min at 190°C a bit much? My chicken gets really tough even at 16 min at 180°C. How's the texture on your side?

So it's just chicken then.
