Just got back from Darjeeling and I'm still soaking in how magical this place is. Here's a quick photo dump: Kanchenjunga peeking through the clouds (she showed up twice - I got lucky), the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway toy train still puffing smoke like it's 1881, rolling tea gardens with that winding road, the town glowing at golden hour and again at dusk, a tiny red‑roofed cottage hidden in the forest, and the monastery - both the golden Maitreya Buddha and the prayer wheels you spin clockwise for good luck. Darjeeling hits differently. It's chaotic and quiet together. The kind of place where you sip tea at 2,000m and watch clouds swallow mountains whole. Happy to answer any questions - routes, stays, best viewpoints, anything!

Best time to visit Darjeeling?
Beautiful
Visiting Darjeeling next week with two friends for three days. Any budget tips? Looking for sights, stays, food, must‑see spots and things we can skip. Thanks.
Stunning
Misty tea gardens, toy train charm, and views that feel straight out of a postcard.
The second photo looks out of this world ❤️
