iPhone 17 offers better value for money, while the X300 is simply a better phone overall.
X300 is about 15K cheaper than iPhone 17 in offline markets. Get iPhone 17 if you want better speakers and slightly better video recording. Get X300 if you want a much better low-light camera, 3x zoom, USB 3.2, a slightly better battery and fast charging.
X300 is a better phone, while the iPhone is also solid.
I have tested both; my friend uses the iPhone 17 and I have the Vivo X300.
- If camera and battery are your priority, X300 any day.
- If you want better hardware and speakers, definitely iPhone.
I can't comment on OS preferences though.

iPhone is better in the long run because of higher resale value, software support and video recording.
Both are great, but I would prefer iPhone.

Vivo X300 is great. If you're crazy about taking pictures, you must go for it. A friend of mine uses it and the camera clarity is amazing and very natural.
X300 offline is 62k and tomorrow the iPhone 17 will be around 71k.
Depending on longevity and status, the choice becomes simpler.
Go for Vivo. Origin OS 6 has been upgraded and is now better than Funtouch OS. It has a better camera than the iPhone 17 and will run smoothly for three years straight. iPhone 17 is a good option, but overall Vivo is better. Spare parts and service centres for Vivo are also excellent. iPhone does win in the App Store market, where some apps are Apple-exclusive and take years to appear on Android.
In short - iPhone for minimal use and good cameras; Vivo for fast charging, great cameras, solid software and excellent service, especially the X series. After three years, iPhone will fetch good cash on exchange or resale.
