I have oily, acne-prone skin and I recently came across the Simple Moisturizing Face Wash on Reddit. My regular cleanser was running low, so I thought I'd give this a try. My main worry was that some folks say it's comedogenic, but after a few days it didn't cause any breakouts - thank God. The texture feels nice and it lathers well. My skin doesn't feel stripped, probably because I use a bean-sized amount and leave it on for about 20 sec. It may not work for everyone, so if you're scared of getting acne, you might stick with Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, which I find safer. The second and third pictures show a noticeable improvement in my acne after just a week. Just to be clear, I only use a moisturizer, so this wash helps me keep my acne in check.

Which app is this for acne?
Which is better - this or Cetaphil Gentle?
This is my go-to. I've been using it for years. Some people get confused because Simple has many variants. I have acne-prone skin and the ones that gave me breakouts were the Refreshing Face Wash and the "Gentle" cleanser in the pump bottle, which feels a lot like Cetaphil.
I prefer this one over the Refreshing cleanser, but the Refreshing version is safer for acne-prone skin.
I have the same skin type as you. It gave me terrible acne.
I'm using the Refreshing one - I'm already on my 17th bottle.
Hi, which moisturizer are you using?
Is a moisturizer a must? I only have a minimalist sunscreen and a minimalist salicylic-acid face wash.
I have very dry skin and I've been using it for the past 4 years.
This broke out my skin and gave me acne. I also don't trust Unilever products.
