Title: New Era
Post by: Vinay on May 05, 2026, 10:37 AM
This is a great initiative. Seeing names like Capt. Anuj Nayyar on the locomotives really hits different. It's a small but powerful way to keep their memory alive.

As long as they are well maintained and run on time.

Imagine the announcement when Capt. Arjun is running late by 2hours.

New India?

Every government has respected the martyrs through various initiatives. You will find many roads and chowks named after them. A lot of fuel pumps are given to families of martyrs and carry their names. Even the British erected India Gate to honour fallen soldiers.

Ideally the names of roads and trains should tell you the direction or route you are taking. It makes political or emotional sense, but not economic or logical.
